VINTAGE WOOL CYCLIST JACKET
Circa 1930-1940 / France

This is a Cyclist Jacket made from knitted wool. We’ve seen versions in cotton, linen, moleskin, and leather, but this is our first time seeing one in knitted wool. It features a two-tone design, with the sleeves naturally faded from long-term use, and the overall uneven wear is particularly striking. While we can’t confirm the exact era, it is likely from the 1930s or 1940s.

This work shirt is modeled after a piece from approximately the 1950s, originally crafted from a lightweight "Salt and Pepper" fabric.
